In recognition to the municipality of La Merced, the Juan Valdez Commemoration Coffee-La Merced 100 years was launched by Procafecol and the Departmental Coffee Grower´s Committee of Caldas.

The ceremony was held on August 29 in the main auditorium of the Municipal Coffee Grower´s Committee of Salamina.  The members of the Departmental Coffee Grower´s Committee and of the six Municipal Coffee Growers Committees of northern Caldas, as well as La Merced´s Mayor, Mr. Rodrigo Pulgarín  were present in the event.

Juan Valdez Commemoration Coffee-La Merced 100 years will be available in Juan Valdez Cafés by September 2ndthroughout Colombia.
