Bogota, March 17, 2017 (FNC Press Office) - José Dauster Sette, Brazil’s candidate and whose candidacy was supported by Colombia, was elected as the new Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO).

“Mr Dauster, who will lead this important international coffee policy body, will face the major challenge of giving a new horizon and a new direction to the Organization to make it the great catalyst of resources and projects around the world,” said Roberto Vélez, CEO of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC).

Vélez is also confident that in the short term the new OIC director will present management results that give value to investments of contributors.
